2-4-6-8! Who do we appreciate?

We do love you, teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, specialists, office staff, social workers, maintenance staff.  We love all of you – every single one of you who work with our young people.  You are on the front lines of the success of this country.  Your drive and determination push students to be their best selves.

Enjoy this week.  Here’s a site with which to celebrate, and here’s one of my favorite teacher-poems:

One Hundred Years from now
(excerpt from “Within My Power” by Forest Witcraft)

One Hundred Years from now
It will not matter
what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account
nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child.

Check back here and on Facebook to see what we are up to in celebrating our most valuable resource: YOU.

With a grateful heart,
